Benefits

  • Complete a slim, small face line even from the side by reducing the side of the head
  • Simultaneous aesthetic and functional effects (headache/teeth grinding relief)
  • Customized treatment with 5-step drug selection from HitoX to Allergan
  • When combined with jaw Botox, achieve a balanced contour from both front and side

Recommended for

  • Those who want to refine their overall facial contours along with jaw Botox

FAQ

Q.Does temporalis Botox really relieve headaches?

If the headache is caused by temporalis muscle tension, you can expect an effect. When the temporalis muscle is excessively developed or tense, it causes pressure and headaches in the temple area. Botox relaxes the muscle, alleviating these symptoms. However, it is not effective for all types of headaches, so we will confirm during consultation.

Q.Is the effect better when combined with jaw Botox?

Yes, if you receive both jaw Botox (masseter) and temporalis Botox, the square jaw from the front and the side of the head from the side will be reduced simultaneously, completing an overall balanced small contour. Many people receive both treatments together.

Q.What does Temporalis Botox 100U mean?

100U is the total Botox dosage injected into both temporalis muscles. The temporalis muscle is a wider muscle than the masseter, so a dosage of 50U or more is usually required, and Muse Clinic recommends 100U as a standard. You can choose from HitoX starting at 69,000 won to Allergan at 229,000 won, depending on the drug.

Q.Are there any downtime or precautions after the procedure?

There may be some slight stiffness immediately after the procedure, but it usually subsides within the same day or the next day. The effect gradually appears 2-4 weeks after the procedure and lasts for about 3-6 months.

Precautions

  • Do not rub or massage the treated area vigorously for 2-3 days after the procedure.
  • Avoid excessive alcohol consumption and strenuous exercise on the day of the procedure.
  • For those with severe teeth grinding, it is better to wear a mouthguard during sleep.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women cannot undergo the procedure, so please inform us in advance.
  • Please note that the effect of the procedure gradually appears 2-4 weeks later.
