    Fraxel Treatment Q&A

    How long is the recovery period after the treatment?
    Keratin removal normally starts 1 week after Fractional Laser. It’s also normal for the redness to exist for 1~2 weeks.
    In case the redness is severe, you can enjoy a faster recovery through a cooling process that lowers the temperature of the treated area.
    How painful is the treatment process?
    Because the treatment process is done after putting on anaesthetic cream, it is not very painful.
    However, a flushing sensation may continue for 1~2 days.
    What is the procedure interval and frequency?

    Possibility of washing and putting on the makeup after treatment
    - It is possible after the day of the Fraxel Treatment.

    ✔ After PicoSure Fraxel, you can clean you face or put on makeup right after treatment.
    No direct scars on the skin surface, so no special recovery time is required.
    Redness after treatment
    - Although it may be different per person, normally it fully recovers in 1~2 weeks.

    After Care Instructions for Fraxel Treatment
    1. Please refrain from washing on the day of treatment. A light washing is recommended from the day after treatment.

    2. A carved mark, redness or/and redness may continue for 2~3 days. A cooling care, such as putting on an ice pack, is recommended on the day of treatment.

    3. As the treatment is a laser peeling treatment, please do not touch the keratin that will emerge 3~4 days after the treatment. Let the keratin be naturally exuviated.

    4. Please refrain from going to a sauna, bath tub, swimming pool or others until all of the keratin are exuviated.

    5. The time period from post-treatment to 1~2 weeks is the regeneration period for the skin. Please continue to put regeneration medicine.

    6. Please take extra care in the moisturization of the stressed skin for skin relieval. Please put on sunscreen when going outside
